Destiny 2 Season of the Worthy_02

Bungie’s Destiny 2 has seen issues with its most recent community quest “The Lie”, whether it’s in the completion of Seraph Tower public events or one of the steps being bugged. The developer said it was investigating a solution and thankfully, one has been found. First, there will be maintenance at 10 AM PDT today to prepare for said fix.

Tomorrow will see hotfix 2.8.1.3 released which should fix the quest step. This will only apply for players who would respawn back on the Moon near Eris Morn instead of opening the Warmind door. As for subsequent steps, we’ll have to see how things go.

Other than “The Lie”, Bungie has been facing criticism for recently announced decisions for Destiny 2’s direction as well. Legendary weapons and armor will be “sunset” going forward, which means that they’ll have a max Power cap and only be viable for a year or so. This is against the current model where players can infuse any weapon, regardless of age, to current Power levels. Look for this practice to go into effect when Season 12 starts.
