Destiny 2 Iron Banner

Though player population is still concerning for Destiny 2, Bungie is surging ahead with weekly events and updates. Iron Banner Clash will be coming back on March 6th and will be available till March 13th. The event will see three new weapons available, which are pictured above.

Bungie also confirmed the changes coming to Iron Banner in its weekly update. PvP design lead Derek Carroll noted that match time limit will be 12 minutes while the score limit goes to 125 points. Respawn times will be 7 seconds and unlike the current Control format, zones will start neutral and take slightly longer to cap. Having more Guardians (max 3) standing on the point will speed up the process and they’ll receive Super energy in the process.

As for Rumble, it will host eight players and there will be no points for assists. Mayhem will remain as it currently is and it seems that these three modes (along with Doubles) will be in a Weekly Featured playlist in the future since they don’t fit either the Quickplay or Competitive playlists.

Keep in mind that the Iron Banner changes won’t be coming next week. In fact, it doesn’t seem like 6v6 will be coming to normal Crucible at all. What are your thoughts on this? Let us know below.
