Tougher challenges await for seasoned raiders (but not more powerful gear unfortunately).

Destiny 2 Leviathan

More than a month since the base game launched, Bungie’s first raid for Destiny 2 finally has a higher difficulty available. Prestige mode is now live for the Leviathan Raid so you can look forward to slight changes in encounters and differently coloured gear. There’s no word on whether the gear is actually better, especially since the base raid gear is not.

As for some of the changes, you can head over this discussion thread on Reddit. Some of the reported changes include eight dogs during the Pleasure Gardens, requiring different runners in the Gauntlet, more bathers in the Royal Baths and much more.

It seems like there aren’t any changes to the loot system or Power level for gear and weapons. Bungie will be revealing even more updates for Destiny 2 on October 20th when it talks about Leviathan Raid challenges and Seasons, the latter which should be especially interesting given the hype built around it.
