Destiny 2

Bungie’s Destiny 2 will see its servers go down today for maintenance. They’ll be offline from 8 AM PST till 10 AM PST, which is fairly short given previous maintenace periods. At 9 AM PST, players will be prompted to download update 1.1.3 which contains a number of new features.

These include Nightfall Scoring; Emblem variants for destinations, Nightfall and Crucible; the ability to see Fireteam members on your map; public text chat for PC (which is opt-in); and challenge cards for the Prestige Nightfall. High score tracking over a longer period of time for Nightfalls will also be implemented.

More changes are en route for Destiny 2. March’s update 1.1.4 will see Heroic Strike modifiers, Iron Banner 6v6, sandbox changes to weapons and abilities, penalties for quitters in the Crucible, unique rewards for Nightfalls and Crucible ammo/gameplay tuning. May is when the next big DLC will drop along with season 3 and other changes. Are you looking forward to these updates? Let us know in the comments.
