Bungie’s Destiny 2 has been doing alright in the console space despite first month physical sales being down from the previous game when it launched in 2014. However, it’s the PC version that many players have been waiting for and it will be available to pre-load starting tomorrow, October 18th for those who’ve pre-ordered.
While the exact time hasn’t been confirmed, fans will still have plenty of time to pre-load the game prior to launch. Since Destiny 2 will be using Blizzard’s Battle.net service, you’ll need to install the launcher in order to play it.
Concerns with the end-game notwithstanding, Destiny 2 is a much better looking game on PC with uncapped framerates, support for 4K resolution, better texture work and lighting and much more. Players can also remap the controls to their hearts’ content, though concerns have been raised about the strength of aim assist for those who use controllers. Will you be picking up the PC version when it releases on October 24th? Let us know in the comments.
