Destiny 2 Leviathan

If the return of Iron Banner wasn’t enough, then Bungie has even more for fans of Destiny 2 to look forward to, namely the Prestige Leviathan raid. It will go live at 10 AM PST on October 10th as per the latest weekly update. Think of this as the Heroic version of the raid with tougher enemies and new challenges to conquer. You’ll have to be 300 Power level to attempt it.

Interestingly, it seems that players won’t exactly be progressing. Bungie noted that, “Our goal is not to provide a boon to your character progression, but there are unique rewards to help you shine.”

We already know of the Prestige raid armour but maybe there’s more rewards, like an emblem. Either way, it doesn’t seem like one’s Power level will be going up after the raid. The more interesting tease is about Seasons. Bungie will discuss more about it at TwitchCon on October 20th, 4:30 AM PST so there’s that to look forward to.

Perhaps by the time November rolls around, we’ll even get more information on the game’s first DLC called Curse of Osiris, which arrives in December. It offers a new story, new missions and a new zone to explore on Mercury.
