In a rather cool move, Bungie has announced that Destiny 2 has a new Crucible map called Emperor’s Respite. It’s set in the Leviathan, which is the setting of the game’s first raid. The availability of the raid was dictated by the team that attained the world first clear. Check out how it looks below.
It’s hard to say whether it’s based on any specific area of the raid or an entirely new map. Regardless, it should be available on both Xbox One and PS4 players to play in.
The Leviathan raid is the topic of hot discussion among Destiny 2 players since it’s the game’s first. The mechanics and sheer number of hours required by most teams to clear it have also been hotly discussed by fans. Where does it rate among Destiny’s raids, except most likely above Crota’s End and probably Wrath of the Machine? That’s up to fans to decide.
Everyone else who isn’t interested in raiding can expect the arrival of Xur on September 15th along with Trials of the Nine, the Trials of Osiris PvP mode for Destiny 2. Stay tuned for more information on the same in the coming days.
