Bungie’s worldwide premiere trailer for Destiny 2 is finally available to watch. It showcases the Last City in ruins, the Vanguard ousted from the Tower and Guardians banding together to take back the city. Inspiring speeches from Cayde-6 and Zavala along with confirmation of the newest villain Gaul and the Red Legion are also included.

The trailer’s description also notes that players will travel to “mysterious, unexplored worlds of our solar system” to find new weapons and abilities to combat the Red Legion.

More importantly, the tail-end of the trailer confirms the game’s release date – September 8th. Pre-ordering will grant you early access to the beta. This seems to imply that the beta will be open to all. Hopefully it won’t have 20 percent of the game’s total content like vanilla Destiny did.

Destiny 2 is in development for Xbox One, PS4 and PC as well apparently. The platforms weren’t exactly confirmed at the end of the trailer. Regardless, what are your thoughts? Let us know below.
