Destiny 2 Season of the Deep

Bungie’s newest season for Destiny 2, Season of the Deep, starts today. Its launch trailer is now available and reveals that Titan, Saturn’s moon, has returned. Sloane, who disappeared in Season of Arrivals, is alive and wants Guardians to help the Leviathan, the creature living in Titan’s ocean.

Since the Leviathan knows more about The Witness, it’s in the Guardians’ best entrance to delve into the ocean and help it. Some new underwater mechanics are showcased. Guardians will also go up against the Hive and Taken, which they’ve been around the system a few times.

Some new Legendary armor, a new Exotic which fires Arc slugs after charging, and much more is also revealed. If that weren’t enough, players have a fun little fishing mini-game. Season of the Deep should go live by 10 AM PST with Exotic Armor Focusing, Exotic changes, armor inspired by PlayStation franchises and more. Stay tuned for more details on the new Ritual Activity and Battle Pass.
