While The Final Shape is out next year, Destiny 2 fans have some new content available later today with Season of the Witch. It sees Eris Morn utilizing Hive magic to counter Xivu Arath and ultimately find a way into the Traveler to reach The Witness. Check out the launch trailer below.
Perhaps the most enticing part is the Deck of Whispers. It’s a selection of cards that players can equip to augment their builds in unique ways. You can even place some on the field in battle to change your play style. The new activities include the Altar of Summoning, with its random encounters and large enemy density.
Then there’s the Witch’s Spire, where Savathun honed her Hive magic craft. You essentially collect and deposit tithes, gaining more rewards on cashing out. It’s a three-player activity and is playable for 20 minutes or two hours. More details are needed, but you can expect new armor, Ornaments, weapons, Exotics and more.
As for The Final Shape, it launches on February 24th, 2024, for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS4, PS5 and PC.
