When Season of the Worthy launched for Destiny 2, Bungie filled the loot pool of world drops with Faction armor and other miscellaneous sets. Which was great, until players realized you couldn’t equip any seasonal mods on them. Fortunately, Bungie will be addressing this in an update which adds seasonal mod slots to the different armor sets.
However, as always, there is a catch. The three Faction armor sets will receive slots for Season of the Worthy mods. Meanwhile, other armor will receive Season of Dawn or Season of the Undying mod slots. Bungie has noted which armor sets will be getting which mod slots. Season of Dawn mod slots are coming to the following pieces:
- Dead End Cure
- Retro-Grade TG2
- Heiro Camo
- Road Complex AA1
- Devastation Complex
- High-Minded Complex
Armor pieces receiving Season of the Undying mod slots are:
- Red Moon Phantom
- Mimetic Savior
- Thorium Holt
- Tangled Web
- Prodigal
- Frumious
- Noble Constant Type 2
- Ego Talon IV
- Errant Knight
- Kerak Type 2
- Philomath
Armor sets can use seasonal mods from seasons before and after their currently designated one. So for instance, if you have an armor piece with a Season of Dawn slot, then it can equip mods from Season of the Undying, Season of Dawn and Season of the Worthy. Not exactly the most convenient solution but it’s a step forward. Stay tuned for more on an exact date for the update in the coming weeks.
