Destiny 2

Bungie finally revealed some more information about Destiny 2’s so-called Seasons. There will essentially be four seasons, each with a different theme that will offer major updates, new events and game modes, new cosmetics and of course, new gear to grind for.

Currently, the first season is underway with Faction Rallies and Iron Banner as the first few events. The next season will see The Dawning return and it will bring new things to do like playing ice hockey in the Tower. You can also have snowball fights with players or smack around enemies with the same. Specific cosmetics will be introduced during each season and they’ll leave circulation once the season ends.

The Dawning, for instance, will have its own unique armour set. Other armour sets like Iron Banner and Trials of Osiris are getting some revamps and ornaments. Even better, Bungie confirmed that players be able to purchase Iron Banner weapons directly from Saladin. This will be in season 2 however. As for when that begins, it will likely be after the PC version launches which is October 24th.
