Destiny 2 Faction Rally

The holiday season is over for Bungie and as the developer returns to work, it will be pushing out an update for Destiny 2 during server maintenance on January 3rd. Servers are expected to be offline at 7 AM PT/10 AM ET and players will be unable to log in. Maintenance is expected to end at 12 AM PT though it could go on longer.

The newest update is hotfix 1.1.1.2 and it will allow events like Iron Banner and Faction Rallies to be available to non-DLC owners once again. These events were delayed from December when found to be locked out to those who didn’t own the Curse of Osiris DLC. Other activities like Trials of Osiris, the Prestige Leviathan and Nightfall were also locked out but have since become available again (if they happen to include non-DLC content that is).

Between the Dawning being focused on items in the Eververse cash shop, various issues with Three of Coins and Fated Engrams and much more, fans are looking to Bungie for some kind of update. We’ll find out in the coming days so stay tuned.
