Bungie has big changes coming to Destiny 2 with the next expansion, Shadowkeep. Even if the expansion’s scope is more in line with Rise of Iron than Forsaken, you can still expect to explore a Moon teeming with threats and surprises. In a new developer insights video, Bungie reveals some things that can be expected when players return to its cursed surface.

The expansion will start off with Eris Morn waking some kind of “beast”, which could very well be another Worm God. After that, we get a look at the imposing Hive castle and how Bungie went about revamping the overall aesthetic of the location. Key environments from Destiny 1 have been revamped to look suitably more menacing.

The Moon will apparently be twice the size of that seen in the first game, and activities like Lost Sectors will fill that space. One neat addition is the Fallen Ketch from Destiny 1, which is being scavenged by the Fallen to set up a new base. Destiny 2: Shadowkeep is out on September 17th for Xbox One, PS4, and PC, with more information to come before launch.
