Bungie’s latest limited-time event for Destiny 2 is live with Solstice. As a celebration of sorts, it features the return of the European Aerial Zone, where players can earn Silver Leaves and use them to upgrade new Solstice armor. Check out how it looks in the latest trailer.
There’s also a new weapon, Crowning Duologue, the first Strand Rocket Launcher in the game. Players can also look forward to changes with Bonfire Bash, the main Solstice activity. You now get two buffs – Firebound for more Recovery and Super regen when hanging around teammates and Flare, which damages nearby enemies with blazing waves.
Kindling is earned from Event Challenges and allows for upgrading a Solstice armor piece’s stat three times. It makes chasing after specific stats, like 100 Discipline, easier. You can earn special glows by fully upgrading the armor or paying Silver.
Solstice is available until August 8th, with a new Destiny 2 Showcase for The Final Shape coming on August 22nd. Stay tuned for more details on the latter in the coming weeks.
