Destiny 2 Temporal Surge

Couldn’t get enough of Eververse in Bungie’s Destiny 2? The micro-transaction store served as a decent reservoir for new cosmetics when Festival of the Lost rolled around. However, perhaps to account for the new PC players (since the game has been made free till November 18th), Bungie has introduced the Temporal Surge.

It offers emotes from Year 1 of Destiny 2 and will be around until November 13th, 9 AM PST. These emotes were originally “retired” after previous seasons ended, but the Temporal Surge lets you purchase anything you missed. Unfortunately, you’ll have to drop some real money on Silver to buy them. Rare emotes are priced at 200 Silver, Legendary Emotes cost 500 Silver, and Exotic Emotes cost 1000 Silver.

For reference, purchasing 1100 Silver will cost $10. Bright Dust, earned in-game and also used to purchase Eververse items, can not be used to purchase these emotes. Furthermore, the Exotic versions are segregated from their “base” Year 1 versions by having recolored effects. Though only emotes are available with this Temporal Surge, future occurrences could offer a “variety of items”.
