Destiny 2 - Trials of Osiris_03

It hasn’t been the best couple of weeks for Destiny 2’s Trials of Osiris. Issues and exploits caused the PvP mode to be delayed from its initial launch on November 13th. Though planned to go live on November 27th, another major issue cropped up and caused another delay. However, it seems Bungie has identified the cause of the issue.

Over on Twitter, Bungie Help said that it would be patched in a future hotfix. Trials of Osiris is currently scheduled to return on December 18th. The real question now is whether something other issue will crop up, necessitating another delay. We’ll just have to wait and see.

Bungie has otherwise been fairly busy over the past month, launching Destiny 2: Beyond Light for previous-gen platforms, PC and Stadia. The Deep Stone Crypt raid went live (and was subsequently cleared in eight hours or so) while Season of the Hunt has also been underway. Destiny 2 is also slated to release on December 8th for Xbox Series X/S and PS5 so stay tuned for more details.
