Masterwork Armor, raid mods and more incoming with latest update.
Bungie’s Destiny 2 will be undergoing server maintenance today at 8 AM PST to prepare for update 1.1.2. When maintenance begins, you’ll be unable to login to the game. An hour later, anyone currently logged in will be booted back to the star menu. Maintenance is expected to wrap up by 12 PM PST.
The update will feature the return of Iron Banner with numerous changes like no cap on the rank-up packages and the ability to buy gear/weapons directly from Lord Saladin. The Leviathan raid will also see the addition of new mods that grant perks like 25 percent increased Solar damage during the raid.
There will also be Masterwork Armor which provides damage resistance while using one’s Super. Perhaps the most appealing part of the armour is that it can be re-rolled to either Recovery, Mobility or Resilience. Fashionistas rejoice. This update is only a small part of changes coming to Destiny 2 which include better mods, ranked Crucible and much more.
Destiny 2 will be brought offline tomorrow (1/30) for server maintenance in preparation for Update 1.1.2.
