The latest update for Bungie’s Destiny 2 is out now, and as promised, it nerfs the Exotic sniper rifle Still Hunt, obtained from The Final Shape. It now deals 33 percent reduced damage, but only for Hunters using Celestial Nighthawk. Sniper’s Meditation will no longer buff Still Hunt’s regular Golden Gun shots either, though, in terms of single-target damage, the weapon will still be a fixture in some raid encounters.
As for other fixes, Point-Contact Cannon Brace won’t create lightning strikes on “unintended melees.” Those who found that Xur’s Strange Favor buff wasn’t providing additional Strange Coins during Ritual activities should also see it fixed. Receiving all Lost Ghost quests from Micah-10 will also remove the Ghost Tracker message.
Check out the full update notes below for more details. Destiny 2 is available for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5 and PC. Check out our review of The Final Shape, which we gave a nine out of 10 for its narrative, campaign, quests and post-game content. Act 2 of Episode 1: Echoes is ongoing – head here for more details.
