Bungie’s Destiny 2 is only a few days away for console fans (PC players will have to wait a bit more though) and there’s still a lot we don’t know about it. In a new trailer on the PlayStation YouTube channel, we get to see how the new map works along with fast travel. These may sound like basic features but for Destiny fans, they’re much needed quality of life changes. Check it out below.

The map in Destiny 2 will do more than just showcase the areas you can explore. It will also provide information on missions, Public Events – including what time they’ll start – and so on. It’s also important for travelling between landing zones.

Players will now be able to land on different points in the map with landing zones and can fast travel to different sections of the map with them. They won’t be unlocked from the outset though so some exploration of the area is required.

Destiny 2 is out on September 6th for PS4 and Xbox One while the PC version releases on October 24th.
