Destiny 2 Weekly Reset: A Garden World Nightfall, Flashpoint Io and More

Did someone say "useless emblems that do absolutely nothing"?

The weekly reset has come and gone for Bungie’s Destiny 2, much like its hardcore player base. Things will likely improve when the next big update hits along with the second DLC. For now, it’s another week, another chance at Nightfall emblems.

The Nightfall this week is A Garden World on Mercury. You have to beat the base Nightfall to receive a Challenge Card. From there, you can embark on the Prestige Nightfall with different challenges like increased damage on specific elements, lowering your Power level and even getting kicked back to Orbit if everyone dies in a “No Respawn” zone (which is on by default).

More challenges means higher multipliers which means more points. Alternatively, you can send someone off to farm a Lost Sector. So much for actually playing the Nightfall and earning the points. This week’s Flashpoint is Io, by the way, in case you still care about doing Public Events and Patrols for “powerful” gear.
