Destiny 2 Weekly Reset: Inverted Spire Nightfall, Flashpoint Mercury and More

More importantly, the latest Faction Rally is now live for all.

The weekly reset has come and gone for Bungie’s Destiny 2. While the developer continues to make changes and adjustments, the weekly ritual feels as stale as ever.

The Nightfall this week is The Inverted Spire with Momentum and Timewarp: Rings as the modifiers. The former grants health and shield regeneration when moving with sprinting increasing the rate. The latter requires players to pass through Vex rings to extend the Nightfall timer. It should surprise no one that we’re happy the Nightfall timer in its current form will be going away soon.

Challenges for this week’s Nightfall as follows:

Speed Of Dark: Complete the Nightfall with at least 5 minutes remaining.
Unbroken: Complete the Nightfall with fewer than 3 deaths.
The Floor Is Lava: As a fireteam, do not get hit by Protheon’s fiery ground attack before defeating it.

This week’s Flashpoint is Mercury so head on over, complete some Patrols and repeat the “most rewarding Public Event ever created” a few times for some powerful gear. You can also pick up some Treasure Maps from Cayde-6 for looting chests. Perhaps the biggest addition to the game is the return of Faction Rally where players must pledge to a Faction and gain as many rank-up packages as possible.
