Stuff is happening in Destiny 2. You couldn't be blamed for not caring.

Destiny 2 (1)

The weekly reset has come and gone for Bungie’s Destiny 2, now in its second overall month with nary an endgame in sight. You have new activities and Milestones to complete for something that you may or may not care about.

The Nightfall this week is Savathun’s Song with the modifiers Momentum and Timewarp: Anomalies. This basically amounts to health and shield regeneration only working while you move and sprinting allowing it to work quicker. Unless you just play a Devour Warlock and keep recovering your health with each kill. Timewarp: Anomalies requires you to destroy small objects to extend the mission timer. If this sounds like a Nightfall you did several weeks ago, congratulations. It is.

Challenges for this week include:

  • Speed Of Dark: Complete the Nightfall with at least 5 minutes remaining.
  • Unbroken: Complete the Nightfall with fewer than 3 deaths.
  • The Best Defense: Shoot down 15 of its projectiles before defeating Savathûn’s Song.

The loot chests you get from Cayde-6’s Treasure Maps are still bugged and sometimes don’t give loot so don’t bother with that. The Flashpoint this week is Titan, one of the worst planets to complete Public Events on. So that’s a thing. For raiders interested in a measly emblem for hours of work, the Challenge in the Leviathan raid this week is Pleasure Gardens.
