Find out what this week's activities in Destiny 2 have in store for players.

Destiny 2 (1)

The weekly reset has come and gone for Bungie’s Destiny 2, bringing a new Nightfall with different challenges. The Faction Rally has also wrapped up but Bungie will only reveal the winner when update 1.0.3.1 is deployed and server maintenance ends.

The Nightfall this week is Savathun’s Song with Momentum and Time Warp – Anomalies as modifiers. The Anomalies modifier means having to shoot glowing Vex cubes to extend one’s time. Momentum is more interesting – if you’re standing still, then health and shield regeneration is disabled. Movement gets it going while sprinting makes it regenerate much quicker.

Challenges for this week’s Nightfall can be gleaned below:

  • Speed of Dark – Complete the Nightfall with at least 5 Minutes remaining
  • Unbroken – Complete the Nightfall with fewer than 3 deaths
  • The Best Defence – Shoot down 15 its projectiles before defeating Savathun’s Song

This week’s Flashpoint is the European Dead Zone so head down there, complete some public events and claim some treasure. You can also pick up Cayde-6’s treasure maps and attempt to gain more loot but given all the talk about chest cooldowns and Cayde’s stashes yielding nothing, you might want to hold off on it for now.
