Destiny 2 Weekly Reset: Savathun’s Song Nightfall, Flashpoint EDZ and More

There's some stuff happening in Destiny 2. Do it, don't do it, doesn't matter.

Destiny 2 (1)

The weekly reset has come and gone for Bungie’s Destiny 2 which has undergone a firestorm of controversy after its whole XP throttling system was discovered and removed. Once again, there’s nothing substantial for hardcore players to really pursue. But hey, it’s a good way to waste time.

The Nightfall this week is Savathun’s Song that doesn’t actually have Oryx’s sister Savathun anywhere. Its modifiers include Momentum (regain health and shields by moving; sprint to regenerate quicker) and Timewarp: Anomalies (shoot down the glowing objects to extend mission time). Challenges for the Nightfall can be seen below.

Challenges

  • Speed Of Dark: Complete the Nightfall with at least 5 minutes remaining.
  • Unbroken: Complete the Nightfall with fewer than 3 deaths.
  • The Best Defense: Shoot down 15 of its projectiles before defeating Savathûn’s Song.

As for this week’s Flashpoint, it’s the European Dead Zone. Complete Public Events and you have a chance to pick up some powerful gear. Disclaimer: It’s most likely going to be a duplicate to whatever you already have. You can pick up Treasure Maps from Cayde-6 but considering they’re still bugged and don’t give loot, we wouldn’t bother.
