Destiny 2 Xur Exotics: Fighting Lion, Starfire Protocol, Peregrine Greaves

Niche Exotics adorn Xur's line-up this time around.

Destiny 2 Xur

Xur is back in Bungie’s Destiny 2 with a familiar range of Exotics. Nothing new here, at least if you’ve been playing the game for a long enough period of time. Xur is present at Giant’s Scar on Io and will remain there until tomorrow’s weekly reset.

In terms of Exotic Armor, there’s Lucky Pants (Hunter boots), Starfire Protocol (Warlock chest) and Peregrine Greaves (Titan boots), each for 23 Legendary Shards. Starfire Protocol grants an extra Fusion Grenade charge with kills from the grenades granting rift energy. Lucky Pants adds one round to stowed handcannons on precision hits while increasing ready speed and accuracy of them after immediately swapping. Peregrine Greaves allows mid-air Shoulder Charge abilities to deal more damage.

So some pretty familiar but still niche Exotics. The Exotic weapon, Fighting Lion, is also fairly situational. It’s an Energy grenade launcher that uses Primary ammo with projectiles that bounce off surfaces and explode when the trigger is released. Along with dealing more damage to enemy shields, kills against foes hit by it refill the magazine. The weapon is yours for 29 Legendary Shards.
