Xur has returned to The Tower in Bungie’s Destiny 2. He’s not carrying a crazy set of never-before-seen Exotics to celebrate Thanksgiving (or even Black Friday). However, again, if you’re a new player, it might be worth checking out his wares before he leaves at the next weekly reset.
This week’s Exotic armor includes St0mp-EE5 (Hunter boots), Tranversive Steps (Warlock boots) and Ursa Furiosa (Titan gloves), each for 23 Legendary Shards. St0mp-EE5 is easily the most recommended choice, especially for PvP with the increased sprint speed and improved jump. Ursa Furiosa is a shadow of its former self but might be worth it if you have nothing else.
As for the Exotic weapon, it’s the Graviton Lance, an Energy pulse rifle available for 29 Legendary Shards. Though it fires a two-round burst compared to other pulse rifles, the second shot has no damage fall-off and hits pretty hard like a scout rifle. Kills with the weapon also enemies to explode and generate Void seekers. Overall, pretty good if you can spare the slot.
