Xur is back in Bungie’s Destiny 2, bringing the usual Exotics that many probably own by this point. He can be found in the Tower’s Hangar on the staircase behind Dead Orbit where he’ll remain until tomorrow’s weekly reset. This week’s Exotic weapon is the Energy auto rifle Hard Light.
For 29 Legendary Shards, it offers ricocheting rounds (which do less damage, sadly), better damage drop-off range and the ability to change elements on the fly. Though once dominating the Crucible, it’s now a decent auto rifle that can still provide some utility. Exotic gear this week includes Young Ahamkara’s Spine (Hunter gloves), Dunemarchers (Titan boots) and Felwinter’s Helm (Warlock helm), each for 23 Legendary Shards.
Young Ahamkara’s Spine offers increase Tripmine grenade duration and blast radius. Damaging foes with abilities also provides Tripmine grenade energy. Dunemarchers provide increased sprint speed with sprinting building up a static charge and chaining damage to nearby foes on melee hits. Felwinter’s Helm will hit surrounding foes with a burst of weakness if one foe is killed with a melee attack with finishers and more powerful foes increasing the burst’s radius and length. Again, not the most unique
