It’s a new week in Bungie’s Destiny 2 which means possible new activities following the launch of Beyond Light. In the meantime though, Xur is currently in the Tower, chilling in the Hangar behind Dead Orbit. Head over there now to browse his wares – he’ll be gone with tomorrow’s reset.
This week’s Exotic gear is certainly worth picking up. It includes Khepri’s Sting (Hunter gloves), Lion Rampant (Titan boots) and Phoenix Protocol (Warlock chest), each for 23 Legendary Shards. Phoenix Protocol is a must for Well of Radiance users since kills and assists in the Super will provide Super energy. Lion Rampant is great for PvP thanks to its stellar in-air control.
In terms of Exotic weapons, there’s the Energy auto rifle Hard Light. Along with being able to switch between different elements on the fly, it also has fairly generous damage drop-off and rounds that ricochet. For 29 Legendary Shards, it’s a solid PvP weapon (as long as auto rifles remain relevant, that is).
