Destiny 2 Xur

Xur has returned in Bungie’s Destiny 2, brandishing some decent weapons and an Exotic armor piece that hasn’t been sold before. You can find the Agent of the Nine on The Rig on Titan. Better hurry though since he’ll be gone at tomorrow’s reset.

The Exotic gear on sale this week is Khepri’s Sting (Hunter gloves), Skull of Dire Ahamkara (Warlock helm) and Severance Enclosure (Titan chest), each for 23 Legendary Shards. Severance Enclosure is new and allows for elemental melee final blows to create explosions. If you a finisher or hit a final blow against stronger targets, then the explosion’s radius and damage is increased which is pretty cool.

As for the Exotic weapon, it’s the Monte Carlo auto rifle. Much like its Destiny 1 iteration, dealing damage with the weapon will reduce melee cooldown with kills having a chance to fully recharge one’s melee. Melee kills will give it ammo and it’s possible to gain increased damage with kills (which also applies to melee kills) thanks to the perk Markov Chain. Pick it up for 29 Legendary Shards only.
