Bungie may have won Best Community Support at The Game Awards for Destiny 2 but it seems Xur didn’t get the memo. The Exotic vendor is back with some coal in the lead-up to Christmas. You can find him on Nessus until tomorrow’s weekly reset to best hurry.
The Exotic weapon this week is Prometheus Lens, an Energy Trace Rifle that deals increased damage and leaves a burning effect on foes the longer the beam stays on them. Infamous for being utterly broken upon release, it’s now a fairly solid Energy weapon. Pick it up for 29 Legendary Shards.
The Exotic Gear is nothing to write home about, unfortunately. Young Ahamkara’s Spine (Hunter gloves), Hallowfire Heart (Titan chest) and Wings of Sacred Dawn (Warlock chest) are available for 23 Legendary Shards each. The problem is that they’ve been offered countless times before. Heck, Wings of Sacred Dawn was originally a campaign quest reward before New Light launched. Regardless, if you’re a new player, these items might be worth checking out.
