Exotic vendor Xur has returned to the Tower in Destiny 2. You can find him in the Hangar where he will remain until tomorrow’s weekly reset (which is also when Festival of the Lost will start). Though Xur doesn’t have a lot that veteran players will be interested in, they’re must-have for new players.
The Exotic gear this week includes Liar’s Handshake (Hunter gloves), Synthoceps (Titan gloves) and Geomag Stabilizers (Warlock boots), each for 23 Legendary Shards. Liar’s Handshake allows for a powerful counterattack that will heal the player. Geomag Stabilizers is basically the go-to Exotic for Chaos Reach players and Synthoceps are recommended in Crucible for their increased melee range and damage.
SUROS Regime is the Exotic weapon this week and it’s a solid auto rifle that costs 29 Legendary Shards. It has two firing modes – one for slower but more damaging shots and the other that increases fire rate the longer the trigger is held. The bottom half of the magazine also deals bonus damage and has a chance to grant health on kill.
