It’s been a rather quiet season for Destiny 2 fans, despite a new Seraph Bunker becoming available on the Moon. Nonetheless, Xur is still around and has some decent Exotics that new players may want to pick up. You can find him in The Winding Cove in the European Dead Zone, where he’ll remain till tomorrow’s reset.
For Exotic armor, Xur is selling The Sixth Coyote (Hunter chest), Crest of Alpha Lupi (Titan chest) and Skull of Dire Ahamkara (Warlock helm), each for 23 Legendary Shards. The Sixth Coyote should be fun for Hunters since it gives two Dodge charges while Crest of Alpha Lupi provides additional Orbs of Light from Supers and allows Barricades to heal. Skull of Dire Ahamkara is decent but there are better alternatives – like Nezarec’s Sin – for Voidwalkers.
Then there’s The Huckleberry, one of the few must-have Exotic primaries in the game. It’s an SMG that gains increased rate of fire and recoil as you hold down the trigger and gains Rampage on each kill up to three stacks. Killing enemies reloads some of the magazine with the Exotic catalyst reloading all of your ammo on kills. Best of all, it features the pre-nerf version of Rampage for more damage.
