As with every week, Xur has returned to Bungie’s Destiny 2, brandishing some Exotics that you probably already own. New players can rejoice since it’s an opportunity to expand their collection. You’ll find Xur in the Tower Hangar on the staircase behind Dead Orbit. He’ll remain there until tomorrow’s weekly reset.
This week’s inventory includes the primary scout rifle The Jade Rabbit. Chaining body shots with the weapon provides increased damage to the next precision shot along with returning ammo. It also has Zen Moment for increased stability while dealing damage. Though not a top-tier weapon for either PvP or PvE, it’s a decent pick-up at 29 Legendary Shards.
Next is the Exotic gear which consists of Lucky Raspberry (Hunter chest), Ashen Wake (Titan gloves) and Starfire Protocol (Warlock chest). Each costs 23 Legendary Shards and are fairly standard as far as Exotics go. Starfire Protocol still grants an additional Fusion grenade but also provides grenade energy with empowered weapon kills and Rift energy on Fusion grenade kills. Ashen Wake causes Fusion grenades to explode on impact while Lucky Raspberry increases Arc Bolt grenade’s chaining ability, with a chance to recharge on dealing damage.
