Xur has returned in Bungie’s Destiny 2, carrying some very familiar Exotics that are still pretty good all the same. Sure, it all depends on your build and what mode you’re playing but relatively new players will find something to like. You can find Xur at The Rig on Titan where he’ll remain until tomorrow’s reset.
The Exotic gear this week includes The Sixth Coyote (Hunter chest), Hallowfire Heart (Titan chest) and Geomag Stabilizers (Warlock boots), each for 23 Legendary Shards. The Sixth Coyote gives Hunters an extra dodge, which is useful in Crucible. Hallowfire Heart is good for PvE since it increases recharge rate of Solar abilities and all abilities when your Super meter is full.
Geomag Stabilizers extend the duration of Chaos Reach when it damages foes. Then there’s The Jade Rabbit, an Exotic scout rifle that costs 29 Legendary Shards. It’s very hard-hitting, though its perk – where body shots increase the damage of the next precision shot – can be very situational. Pick it up for Momentum Control in Crucible and don’t look back.
