It’s the day before The Dawning in Destiny 2 and Xur is currently in the Tower with some new Exotics. You can find him in the Tower Hangar on the stairs behind Dead Orbit. He’ll be there until tomorrow so make sure to peruse his wares.
In terms of Exotic gear, Xur is carrying Vesper of Radius (Warlock chest), Gwisin Vest (Hunter chest) and Armamentarium (Titan chest), each for 23 Legendary Shards. It’s actually somewhat odd to see Vesper of Radius being available since Bungie disabled it due to an exploit. Otherwise, Gwisin Vest and Armamentarium are both good, the former for its Spectral Blades use and the latter for its double grenades.
It’s the Exotic weapon – Trinity Ghoul, an energy combat bow – that’s most interesting. Bows haven’t usually been the best in Destiny 2 but with Arc chaining abilities and Exotic Catalyst, this one does very well in terms of clearing trash mobs. Pick it up for 29 Legendary Shards and give it a spin.
