Xur is back in Bungie’s Destiny 2, hanging out in the Tower Hangar until tomorrow. He has one of the best Exotic weapons in the game: Arbalest, a Kinetic linear fusion rifle.
Available for 29 Legendary Shards, Arbalest’s first perk, “Compounding Force,” can deal hefty damage to enemy shields. It’s reportedly enough to destroy the shields on bosses in the new Ghosts of the Deep Dungeon, making it an appealing option. Being in the Primary weapon slot and having Anti-Barrier Champion properties is even better.
New random rolls for Hawkmoon and Dead Man’s Tale are also available, the former having Corkscrew Rifling, Rangefinder and Polymer Grip. The latter also has Corkscrew Rifling but with Light Mag, Killing Wind and Hand-Laid Stock. The Exotic gear on sale is Lucky Pants (Hunter boots), Armamentarium (Titan chest) and Eye of Another World (Warlock helm), each for 23 Legendary Shards.
