Exotic vendor Xur, who we all truly love, is back in Bungie’s Destiny 2. Forsaken Exotics? No, he still doesn’t have any of those, despite Forsaken being out for almost five months at this point. But he may just have some decent items for new players. Xur can be found at The Rig on Titan, and he’ll remain there until the next weekly reset.
Xur’s Exotic gear this week includes Transversive Steps (Warlock boots), Fr0st-EE5 (Hunter boots), and Ashen Wake (Titan gloves), each for 23 Legendary Shards. Fr0st-EE5 is definitely worth picking up, since it increases the regeneration of your melee, class ability, and grenade while sprinting. Transversive Steps is fine for automatically reloading your equipped weapon while sprinting, while Ashen Wake causes Fusion Grenades to explode on impact.
The Exotic weapon this week is the Crimson. This three-burst handcannon can have its magazine refilled on precision kills while healing the user with non-precision kills. It’s yours for 29 Legendary Shards and may come in handy when The Last Word quest rolls around.
