Xur is back with some new but ultimately subpar Exotics.
Xur has returned to the Tower in Bungie’s Destiny 2 (the new one, not the old one) and he’s brought some intriguing loot. Not all of it is great but there is some variety over the previous weeks.
This week’s Exotic gear includes Graviton Forfeit (Hunter helm), Helm of Saint-14 (Titan helm) and Vesper of Radius (Warlock chest), each for 23 Legendary Shards. They each have their own distinct uses, though Graviton Forfeit and Helm of Saint-14 are nowhere near as decent as in Destiny 1. Meanwhile, Vesper of Radius releases an Arc shockwave when placing a Rift down.
The Exotic weapon this week is the Crimson, a hand cannon with burst-fire properties that grants health on kills and ammo on precision kills. Sadly, it’s neither good as a hand cannon nor pulse rifle and boasts terrible ammo capacity. It can be yours for 29 Legendary Shards though.
Other items include a Fated Engram (to provide an Exotic you don’t have) and Three of Coins (increased chance of Exotic dropped for a few hours) for 97 and 31 Legendary Shards respectively.
