Xur has returned in Bungie’s shared world disappointment Destiny 2 and has a “new” range of Exotics to share. If you’re feeling inclined to pick up a few Destiny 1 Exotics, then Xur can be found on Nessus till the next weekly reset.
This week, Xur has An Insurmountable Skullfort (Titan helm), Lucky Raspberry (Hunter chest) and Ophidian Aspect (Warlock gloves), each for 23 Legendary Shards. The best of all these is Ophidian Aspect since it increases reload and ready speed for all weapons.
The Exotic weapon for this week is new though – the Prospector, a grenade launcher that can be fired in full auto. Holding down the trigger launches a volley of grenades and releasing it will detonate all these shells at once. It’s kind of neat and can be head for 29 Legendary Shards.
Otherwise, Xur has the typical Fated Engram for 97 Legendary Shards and Three of Coins for 31 Legendary Shards. If you’re looking for some major new content, you may have to wait till the next DLC drops in May.
