Xur continues his exclusion of Year 2 Exotics in Bungie’s Destiny 2. That being said, the tentacle-faced Agent of the Nine has a few other worthy Exotics for new players to pick up. Find him in The Winding Cove in the European Dead Zone – he’ll remain there until the next weekly reset.
This week’s Exotic gear includes Celestial Nighthawk (Hunter helm), Dunemarchers (Titan boots), and Sanguine Alchemy (Warlock chest), each for 23 Legendary Shards. Celestial Nighthawk is a must for all Hunters as it reduces the number of shots with Golden Gun to a single, highly-damaging shot. Perfect for raid bosses and one-shot kills on Strike bosses when the modifiers are right.
The other recommended Exotic is Graviton Lance, an Exotic energy pulse rifle that costs 29 Legendary Shards. It’s a two-burst Void pulse rifle that fires seekers, with headshot kills that seek out nearby enemies. The second shot of the burst is also much stronger and has no fall-off, making the Graviton Lance a better scout rifle than nearly every scout rifle in the game currently.
