Xur has returned in Bungie’s Destiny 2, carrying some relatively forgettable loot (with a few noteworthy exceptions). He’s in the Tower Hangar until the next reset and has the Exotic Energy shotgun, Lord of Wolves, available.
As a burst-fire shotgun, Lord of Wolves can fire in full auto with an increased rate of fire in its alternate mode. It’s far from a meta pick in either PvE or the Crucible, but for 29 Legendary Shards, it’s worth messing around with. Hawkmoon’s latest random roll has Polygonal Rifling, Quickdraw and Heavy Grip – far from the ideal roll for PvP.
This week’s Exotic armor includes Liar’s Handshake (Hunter gloves), ACD/0 Feedback Fence (Titan gloves, surprisingly with a high Resilience stat) and Aeon Soul (Warlock gloves), each for 23 Legendary Shards. It’s not the worst slate of Exotics, for sure.
The Legendary armor on sale this week is the Ketchkiller’s Set from Season of the Plunder. If you’re keen on a Jack Sparrow cosplay, it may be worth picking up each piece for 50 Legendary Shards and 1000 Glimmer. Check out the latest Legendary weapons as well:
- Truthteller Energy Grenade Launcher
- The Deicide Energy Shotgun
- Dire Promise Kinetic Hand Cannon Crossfire
