Xur, the elusive Agent of the Nine who had some story in Destiny 1 (but not really), has returned in Destiny 2. He can be found in The Rig on Titan where he will remain until the weekly reset on Tuesday. This week’s Exotics from Xur are fairly boring and include Fr0st-EE5 (Hunter boots), Eternal Warrior (Titan helm) and Wings of Sacred Dawn (Warlock chest).
They’re each for 23 Legendary Shards. Wings of Sacred Dawn is kind of lame while Eternal Warrior simply grants an overshield upon activating Fist of Havoc. Fr0st-EE5 is pretty good though with rapid cooldown on grenade, melee and dodge abilities upon sprinting. Furthermore, dodging increases one’s sprint speed. Pick it up if you don’t already own it.
The Exotic weapon this week is Telesto, a Fusion Rifle for 29 Legendary Shards whose pellets stick to enemies and detonate after some time. Multikills with the weapon will reload all Kinetic and Energy weapons from their reserves. Finally, visit Xur to upgrade that Nightfall Challenge Card into a Legendary Challenge Card.
