Destiny 2 Xur

Exotic vendor Xur has returned to The Tower in Bungie’s Destiny 2 and for once, perhaps even twice, he has a good selection of wares. Xur will be present until the next weekly reset which takes place on June 26th.

In terms of Exotic Gear, Xur has Graviton Forfeit (Hunter helm), The Armamentarium (Titan chest) and Skull of Dire Ahamkara (Warlock helm), each for 23 Legendary Shards. They’re each fairly decent in their own right – The Armamentarium provides a second grenade for Titans.

Graviton Forfeit extends the duration of invisibility effects for Hunters (and recharges melee faster when invisible). Skull of Dire Ahamkara is kind of underwhelming, only offering damage resistance during Nova Bomb and Super energy on kills.

However, there’s The Colony, an Exotic grenade launcher for 29 Legendary Shards that’s one of the cheesiest weapons for Crucible. When fired, grenades will seek out targets in the same vicinity and deal a good amount of damage. With the Power Ammo economy being ridiculous, The Colony is a great option for PvP.
