Destiny 2 Xur

It wouldn’t be a weekend in Destiny 2 without Xur and disappointment. The Exotic vendor is in the Arcadian Valley on Nessus until the next weekly reset. This week’s Exotic weapon is a Year 1 throwback – The Wardcliff Coil, a rocket launcher that fires a volley of projectiles and automatically reloads when collecting ammo.

Believe it or not, this was top-tier, situational boss DPS back in the day. It’s yours for 29 Legendary Shards, though we’d advise choosing anything else. Exotic gear available includes The Bombardiers (Hunter boots), An Insurmountable Skullfort (Titan helm), and Ophidian Aspect (Warlock gloves), each for 23 Legendary Shards.

Hawkmoon and Dead Man’s Tale also have new random rolls. The former offers Fluted Barrel, Killing Wind and Heavy Grip, while the latter has Full Bore, Accurized Rounds, Snapshot Sights and Hand-Laid Stock. As for the Legendary armor, it’s the Future War Cult set, also from Year 1 (before the faction turned genocidal). Each piece costs 50 Legendary Shards and 1000 Glimmer.

Finally, there are new Legendary weapons. Check them out below:

  • Bump in the Night – Heavy Rocket Launcher
  • IKELOS_SG_v1.0.3 – Energy Shotgun
  • Nezarec’s Whisper – Energy Glaive
  • Brass Attacks – Energy Sidearm
  • Nature of the Beast – Energy Hand Cannon
  • Quickfang – Heavy Sword
  • Chroma Rush – Kinetic Auto Rifle
