Destiny 2 Xur

Xur is back in town or at least back on Nessus in Bungie’s Destiny 2. You can find him chilling the Arcadian Valley till tomorrow’s weekly reset. This week’s Exotic weapon is Tractor Cannon, a Heavy shotgun for 29 Legendary Shards that pushes enemies away and suppresses while increasing damage dealt to them. Causing damage can also temporarily increase speed and handling.

Other Exotics include Oathkeeper (Hunter gloves), Helm of Saint-14 (Titan helm) and Contraverse Hold (Warlock gloves), each for 23 Legendary Shards. Oathkeeper is relatively unseen but it just allows for indefinitely holding a drawn arrow with bows. The 10 ms faster draw time also sadly isn’t worth it.

This week’s Hawkmoon roll includes Smallbore, Hip-Fire Grip and Polymer Grip which is decent for PvP. Dead Man’s Tale has Smallbore, Armor-Piercing Rounds, Subsistence and Composite Stock, which works very well for PvE. The Legendary armor available this week is the Season of Arrivals set – each piece costs 50 Legendary Shards and 1000 Glimmer.

Check out this week’s Legendary weapons below. Like the Legendary armor, each costs 50 Legendary Shards and 1000 Glimmer.

  • THE SWARM – Heavy Machine Gun
  • IKELOS_SG_v1.0.2 – Energy Shotgun
  • Temptation’s Hook – Heavy Sword
  • Wishbringer – Energy Shotgun
  • Extraordinary Rendition – Kinetic SMG
  • Death Adder – Energy Submachine Gun
  • Gnawing Hunger – Energy Auto Rifle
