Xur may not have brought any Year 2 Exotics for Destiny 2 following the launch of Forsaken, however, for new players, the Agent of the Nine has offered some fairly good Exotics from Year 1 to sate their curiosity. This week is no different, as Xur can be found at Giant’s Scar on Io until the next weekly reset.
The Exotic gear he’s selling includes Orpheus Rig (Hunter boots), Hallowfire Heart (Titan chest), and Verity’s Brow (Warlock helm), each costing 23 Legendary Shards. Despite a nerf, Orpheus Rig is still very good for chaining together Shadowshot Supers, and Hallowfire Heart is very much recommended for Sunbreaker Titans. Verity’s Brow is a lot more situational, as it provides increased grenade recharge rate for you and your fireteam with Energy weapon kills.
The Exotic weapon, Vigilance Wing, is pretty nice though. It’s a fairly solid, five shot-burst Pulse Rifle with strong impact and range meant for PvP. Sure, there may be plenty of other weapons that are more “in”, but Vigilance Wing still does a pretty darn good job. It can be yours for 29 Legendary Shards.
