Destiny 2’s Expansions Will Release In Winter 2017 And Spring 2018, Will Add Wealth of Content – Rumor

Take this report with a grain of salt.

Destiny 2 was recently confirmed officially by Bungie and Activision. The game will be out in September this year for the PS4, Xbox One and PC, and already, we have possible new information on major future DLC packs and expansions for the game. A user posted an image on Reddit that showed a letter sent by Bungie to Gamestop detailing the game, their plans for its future support, and the specifics of its release date and what have you.

As per the letter, Bungie already have at least two major expansion packs planned for the game. They describe the game’s expansions as follows: “The Expansions offer brand new story missions, co-operative activities, competitive multiplayer, and a wealth of new weapons, armour, and gear.”

The first expansion pack is set to be released in Winter of this year itself, just a few months after the game itself launches, with the second pack set for a Spring 2018 release. This is not, of course, official confirmation, so take it with a grain of salt.
