Destiny 2’s First Faction Rally Winner is Dead Orbit

Which should surprise no one because people really like black shaders.

Destiny 2 Faction Rally

Maintenance has wrapped for Bungie’s Destiny 2 and the results are in for the first Faction Rally. Perhaps surprising no one, Dead Orbit has managed to eke out ahead. The result was announced by Bungie’s official Twitter.

It’s especially funny because even with New Monarchy having better looking armour pieces and Future War Cult possessing some of the best weapons in the game, players still flocked to Dead Orbit.

Why? It could be because of the faction’s black and white shaders which were particularly popular in the first Destiny (especially with how difficult they were to obtain for some).

Still, this is only the first Faction Rally so we can probably look forward to other factions in the future taking prominence. Will Bungie introduce new factions to make things even more interesting, especially with hints of Daito (which created the Jade Rabbit) possibly making an appearance? That remains to be seen honestly but stay tuned for more details regardless.
