Destiny 2 Sturm and Drang

Update 1.1.4 was deployed recently for Bungie’s Destiny 2 and while player numbers aren’t exactly near launch levels (much less, Curse of Osiris), there are people playing. The developer is now gearing up for update 1.2.0 aka the Exotic Pass update which will make several Exotic weapons and gear feel much better. In its weekly update, changes for Sturm and Drang, an Exotic handcannon and Legendary sidearm respectively.

Both weapons have had their base stats improved with Drang now having Rampage (kills granting adding extra damage for a few seconds) and its magazine being maxed. Sturm’s Overflow Rounds also have their damage boosted by 1.8 times, thus making it possible to two-tap enemies in the Crucible. These changes are in addition to more coming to Graviton Lance, Sunshot and so on in the near future.

Meanwhile, Destiny 2’s “Go Fast” update has been received with a somewhat mixed reaction. Players have appreciated the reduced cooldowns for Supers and grenades along with increased movement speed for jumps. However, the lack of time-to-kill changes and problems with Rumble continue to sour players.
